ENEMY CLAIM SUCCESSES.

LONDON, October 23. The Germans claim that General Kovess reached Arnayeivo on the Slatina front, and that General Gallwitz advanced to Savanovac. General Bojadoeff further advanced northward of Kniashevatz. Other Bulgarians occupied Kumanovo, and captured Veles. They have driven the enemy across the Vardar southward of Strumnitza Salonika reports that the Bulgarians after occupying Pirot, are advancing in the direction of Nish. A big battle is in progress between the Serbians and the Bulgarians at Veles. Turkish cavalry are participating. The Bulgarians are fortifying the Ehodope Mountains.
