A meeting of the Carnival Execute was held at' the Town Hall yestoi day, the Mayor presiding. The follow ing resolutions were carried : — "That each group pay its own deb and hand in a balance-sheet of xeceip and expeniture and all monies to tl Executive Committee (Messrs Perkin Moss and Kitchingham) on or befo: Saturday, 30th inst," "That the poll close at 9 p.m. < Saturday 30th at the Town Hall, ar no monies received after that hour 1 credited to either group, but to tl •General Fund." r - "Poll to be announced at 9.30 at at or all of the , public halls where p triotic functions are being held."
