THE USE OF POISON GASES
INITIATED BY THE CROWN ' . PRINCE:
PETROGRAD, October 18. The "Retch" says that the Crown Prince and General von Hindenburg initiated the gas attack. The Crown Prince said that with gas we could dislodge the Allies from the west front. The majority of generals dissented, but General von Hindenburg supported it, and the proposal was adopted.
