TOWN HALL TO-NIGHT
The No. 2 Group's third night's programme will be presented at the Town Hall to-night, and Avill consist of another programme of excellent films. The star picture, "Discord and Harmony," will be screened by special arrangement with the Fraser Film Exchange. This photoplay is a most charming, emotional and pathetic production, which depicts the story of a friendless adopted girl's marriage t'; a devoted admirer. The marriage is contracted in opposition to the wishes of the girl's guardian, who is an old and accomplished musician. It is only upon the death of the musician that the justification i!or the opposition is realised. The last sad scene is played as a fitting requiem for the loved departed guardian. "The Eclair Journal" is a splendidly provided war topical. "Her Trip to New York" is a most hinnan e story of a girl's first trip to the metropolis. "Why Universal Ike Left Home " is a ludicrously funny happening of events. The Vitagraph. Company present an unprecedented comedy, entitled "The Rival Undertakers.;' It is hard to imagine an undertaker being serious, but this comedy will dispose of all such difficulties. The I.N.E. Company present one' of those inimitable comedies which are fast bringing the producers iuto the first flight. The contribution tonight consists of "Funniosities." "3aved by a Watch" . (Selig) is a drama of most sustained interest. A grand supporting programme will be screened and will be supplemented by the photographs of the candidates forthe distinction of tho most popular girl. A grand augmented orchestra will assist.
