NAVAL ENGAGEMENT.
REPORTS CONFIRMED. LONDON, October 17. The Exchange Telegraph at Copenhagen says that tliere is •no official news of the naval action that was fought three-q uartres of a . mile from land nnd nothing certain is known. Fisihe>rmen declare that thjiiy saw some ships disappear after the cannonading. Another Copenhagen message states that a British submarine was attacked in the Sound. The submarine fired shells at a torpedo boat, which was sunk.
