To be Tun under the New Zealand Rules of Trotting. Places horses may. be nominated for a higher class on the second day of the Meeting. Such Nominations may be made at any time up to ten ininutes after the finish ot* the last race of the first day of! the Meoiing. Amateur riders, as defined by New Zealand Rules of Trotting. Definition of Local Race. —A ratf* open to horses which have been in one of the Counties of Buller, Murchison, Inangahua,. Westland, or Grey, or any West Coast Borough, for at least three months immediately prior 10 the race, and -owned by residents of the said Counties, or Boroughs. The Committee to be "the sole judges of whether a horse is qualified or not. Tho Committee reserves the right to refuse any nomination without giving any explanation. RULE 172 Rules of Trotting.—By the entry of, or endeavouring to enter a horse,"" every person having or subsequently acquiring an interest in such horse shall be deemed to accept all the conditions and restristions imposed or implied by these r.ules, and to be barred from questioning the action or con duct of the Club or other body holding sports meeting, or any other official of- the Club, or such other body in respect of such horse or any person connected therewith, otherwise than is provided for in Part XXX.
