In view of Britain's action, a suggestion has .been mooted to form a National Government in Australia, but it finds no favour with the Federal ftßnistery or the rank and file of the Party. Ministers decline to be drawn. Asked in the House whether it is the intention to form a Coalition Ministry and whether there is a likelihood of a pdrty truce during the currency of the war, Hon. Fisher replied that the Government would bring in no party legislation, but legislation for the welfare of the people of Australia.
