"ABSOLUTE WASTERS."
DISMISSED FROM EXPEDITIONARY FORCE. MELBOURNE, Feb. 12. Senator Pearce, in referring to the approaching arrival of the soldiers discharged from the ranks of the Expeditionary Force, states that a man of high spirit and unruly disposition often makes the best soldier in the firing line. For this reason only the absolute wasters, with whom it was impossible to do anything, were being discharged from the ranks.
