(Per United Press Association.) WOOL SALES. DUNEDIN, February 12.— For the third and last wool sale on Tuesday next, 7800 bales have been catalogued. ■ ■ ADVANCE IN OATMEAL. DUNEDIN, Feb. 12.— Oatmeal today advanced £2 10s per ton, and is now quoted at £20 per ton. ROBBING A BANK. CHRISTCHURCH, February 12.— At the Supreme Court to-day, Percival Roy Kennedy, a youth, pleaded guilty to charges oi theft from the Union Bank, and was ordered to come up for sentence when called upon. FIRE AT HASTINGS. HASTINGS, Feb. 12.— A fire last night damaged beyond repair shops owned by Kilford and Ebbett, and occupied by Tustin (painter) and Moore (second-hand furniture dealer). Their stocks wero ruined. An adjoining shop, owned by the same owner, and occupied by Yon Lee (silk mercer) was scorched, the stock being damaged by water. The fire had a good hold when discovered, but the brigade had it quickly under control. Insurances are: Building. £1000; and on Tustm's stock £600. "Moore estimates his loss at £300 above insurance.
