The railway working account for v the four weeks ended September. 12, show that the revenue amounted to ,£286,50.2, and the expenditure to £234,419. •? The North Island produced 517 revenune and the South Island £129,985. Of expenditure the North Island absorbed £120,415 and the South Islaind £112,003. The percentage of revenue expended to date since April 1 was 73.42^0001---pared with 73-52 at the same-period last year.
