The Board of Cricket Control has decided to leave the question of sending next year a team to Australia in the hands of the Melbourne Club. It adopted Marylebone's sugegstion to limit the. matches against the State to four and a-half days, but declined to the limit test of five and a-half days, insisting that it be played to a finish. It was agreed to bring the Australian follow-on rule in conformity with the English.
