WAR WITH AUSTRIA DEMANDED
ROME, Oct. 6. Some 60,000 Italians, in a manifesto
to the Government, beg for help against the Austrians, declaring that the number of arrests on suspicion are assuming • unbearable proportions, while the distressing stories of the fugitives arc raising popular passion.
