(Red. 7.30 p.m.) LONDON, Oct. 6. The High Commissioner reports as follows: — ■" Paris reports officially that some progress has been made in the Berryaubac district. With the co-operation of the British a slight advance north of Soissons, Between the Somme and Oise, has been made with alternate advances and retirements. The Germans attacked in strengtn near Lassigny, but failed. . The front is extending more 6n the Allies, left owing to a large mass of the enemy's cavalry and other forces moving through the district north of Boubai.
