THE RUSSIANS OBJECTIVE. ROME, Oct. 5. The Rusisans occupied Losszumezo and the Cossacks crossed the Tesza river and cut the Tailway at Szifieth. The Rusisan objectives are firstly to safeguard the left flank operating in the San River to Cracow. Second, to open a new field of action for the cavalry in the Hungarian plans and disturb the drilling of Hungarian reservists and hinder the provisioning of the Austrian army.
