Among tne passengers who arrived last night were *he following:.-— Messrs Evans, Cumpsty, H-xkey, Adams, Henderson, Wilson, Whelan, Hamilton, Waller, Mahony, Tumley Cunningham, George, Uru Tainui, and George : Mesdames 'McGowan Me Kenzie, Whelan, O'Connell, Mahony Tregethene Uru, McMoran, and, Walsh,; Misses Sheedy, Matheson, Lord and O'Brien.
Mr."G. H. Moss, Beef ton's popular townsman, has word of an appointment in the Shipping Department of the Massey Harris Company at Lyttelton. Mr. Moss has accepted the appointment and will leave Reefton at the end of July to take up his new duties. Mr. Moss, cheerful and accommodating disposition, has gained for him a very large circle of friends not only in Reef ton but throughout the West doast. Having spent 26 years of his life in Reef ton will be much missed.
The following were among the passengers who left for Christchurch yesterday : Mesdames Smith, Salt and fouT children. Low, Bolt and Gough; Misses Maude McKinnon, Arnott and Salt ; Messrs R. G. Armitage, W. H. Paterson, J. Thorn, L Lilley Salt, Williams, Bevin, England, Coppersmith, Wright Gough, and J. D. Dun can.
