Cowper, a passenger by the Ulimaroa from New Zealand, described as a half-caste Indian,, was not allowed to land. The official reason given, w.as that Cowper :is a coloured person, and therefore under the Aliens Restriction Act, not permitted to come ashore. Cowper intended to join the Orion Steamer en route for India. He will be allowed, to join any outward steamer so long as he does not land. SHEEP BREEDER'S SHOW. SYDNEY, July 2.
