SYDNEY, July 1. A feature of the sheep breeders' an nual show was the predominance of British breeds supplying- 312 out of 508 entries. New Zealand was well represented in the Jong- wool sections, but she was hardly so successful as in previous exhibitions. In ' Rorxraey Marches J. A. Murdoch, of Oveshiels, took first and champion, and second for ram under twelve months; also first pen three rams of the same age. Donald Grant, Timaru, received sej conds for rams over two years, and under two years. Joseph Dowthwaite got third for ewe under twelve months In Border Leicesters Donald Grant was second and Dowthwaite third. For ram over two years Donald Grant was third. For ram under two years Dowthwai^e was first and second and Donald Grant third. For ram under twelve months, Dowthwaite was second and Donald Grant third. . For ewe over two years Dowthwaite was first and second. For ewe under two years Dowthwaite was second and Donald Grant third. For ewe under twelve months Dowthwaite was first and Donald Grant second. For pen of three rams under twelve months Dowthwaite was second and John Nixon, Killinchy, third. Drunkill, of Wag-ga and Yelland, of Victoria, secured the bulk of championships in these classes. For ten Corriedales C. Ensor, Rangiora, was second, for ram under two years and first and se cond for ewe under two years.
