The usual weekly meeting of -the West Coast Association, was held'-pn Monday night, there b^ing present Messrs S. White (chair), J. Thomas, ■A. Thomas, H. Herring, and W. Pring. : I A letter was Received from the New Zealand Ladies/ Hockey Association stating, th© match against the English ladies ; was set down for Wednes day,' September 2nd, not the 23rd, as originally published. Further particulars of the tour were discussed, any the Secretary was instructed to write to the New Zealand Ladies' Hockey Associaion in connection with the matter. ' " . A letter was also received from the New Zealand Ladies' Hockey Associ-, ation, stating that a North v. South Island match would be played at Wellington on September 12th, and re miesting any likely players who could, make the trip to have their names for warded on not later than July 20th.. The following referees were appointed for Saturday's fixtures:— { , Mawhera v. Trinity,. at' Park 3, p.m. Mr , Renal. Cobden .y, St. Andrews, at Cobdea, Mr Barrett. ■■■■■ Physical^ Culture v.
