THE STRANDED KAURI.
HOLES PATCHED UP. WESTPORT, June 30. The stranded steamer Kauri's leaks have been practically stopped, a don-* icey boiler keeping the steamer dry, The vessel was moved fifty cr s^xty yards by her own gear last night. The tugs Man a and Terawhiti commence towing at 3 p.m. The magisterial inquiry into the stranding of the s-s. Kauri will be held at Westort next Saturday. The nautical assessors will be Captains G. G. Smith and W. J. GreVj. of Wellington.
