Herdunan gave notice of his intention to> introduce the Civil Service Officer's Repeal Bill, Crimes Amendment Bill and Defamation Bill. Hon. F- M. B. Fisher gavejiotke of his intention to introduce the Immi gration Restuction Bill, Local Elections and Proportional Representation Bill. - - Hon. J., Allen introduced the Religious Instruction" m Schools Refereit duon Bill. The Hokonui County Bill (Mr G. Anderson, M^ataura), Firii inquest Bill (Mr T. K. Sidey, Dunedin South), and Railway Improved Land Bill (Mr. R. McCallum, Wairau) were introduced and lead a first timt.
