Lloyd George's finance ,prcposals, but said the s time had come for 1 a full enquiry into^ the system where 1 on^ the income tax ,was levied, the law at present j being a ghastly confusion ! of chaotic provisions. j Mr Bcaiar Law taunted the Hon. D. Lloyd' George with surrendering- his j rafllkmaine supporters. He detnounced' his methods of finance. He had broken every principle which the past Liberal financiers regarded as essential.' After the jJiyision, ,as the members were leaving .the House the ,, Nationalists taunted the O'Brienites, and there was a heated altercation and ,blows ""were threatened. 1 vMr William Redmond intervened and restored peace.
