FORESTRY
COURT CONCORD. The legular meeting of Court Concord, No. 4^55, A.Q'.F.^ .was-held at their lodge room, Albert --Street, on F.r'tday evening last, J3ro>. Geo. Kear, C.R., presiding. The attendance was very fair considering the_ inclement weather. After the usual routine work of considering a large amount of correspondence had been attended J to, two. candvdateSj who were in afcrendance, were duly initiated as memmers of the order by the C.R., assisted by P. 0., Bro. Clarke. | The medical report showed a good number of members on the sick list/ but most of them were progressing favourably. Occasion was taken to congratulate Bro. Perkins on his re-election aY Mayor of the town tor x Sa third term and most of the, members spoke to the resolution, and . expressions' that 'he lodge should be proud of their •ifccretary occupying such a high office were general. Bro. Perkins in responding thanked the members 'for 'he resolution which they had carried unanimously, /and stated that although 1 he felt sure of support from >the brotherhood, he had given them a tree band to vote as they pleased and could honestly say that_ he had not asked a single member of the lodge ■to vote for him! This statement was received with applause. It was decided that members try and get- a better attendance at tuture meetings and induce lax members to take more , interest in tfieir lodge. The (meetingclosed with the usual ceremony and a short period of hairmony ensued.
