NO STRIKE.
PORT DARWIN, May 14. A few men have re tunned to work rather than risk. their positions in the railway service. Tjhe '• carpenters have .not returned ■. owing ■ to- their objecton to work with men who broke away from the local union. They were 'then peremptorily dismissed. The Administrator considers that there is now no strike so far as the Government is con corned.-' The vacancies will be filled.
