The following were among the passengers who left for ; Christchurch by the Otira express yesterday morning:. Mesdames Fox, Smith, A. P. Gibson, Duncan; Misses" N. Senior, Isdale; Messrs. H. Bock, Poole, Phelan, Bell, Rae, Ardell, M. J. Fogarty,' A. Beb,an, Orr, Smith and Fox: Mr John Keenan, who has been absent in Western Australia for 17 years, arrived in Kumara on Saturday evening on a visit to his people here. , Among the pas-sengers_ on their way 11 to New Zealand is the well known Gloucester bowler, Mt Jack . Board, who is. accompanied by -his. son. Board jun., will go into sheep-farming, whilehis father \\\\\ return to England in the spring. •
