WEDDING
. HANSFORD— HONEY. A quiet but pretty wedding- was .solemnised at Holy -.Trinity Church, Greymouth, on Wednesday afternoon by Yen Archdeacon York. The contracting pacties were Elsie Alice, third daughter of Mr. and J&rs. A, G. Honey of this town, and Albfert Edgar Ilans'ford, of Hokitika. 1-The bride, was given away by her father. '' I The bride's dress was composed of cream radianta and over lace coatee. She wore the usual Avreath and veil and carried a shower bouquet of mountain lilies and orange blossoms. I ' The bridesrnands were Miss Ethel ! and Frances Honey, sisters . of the bride. Thoy were dresses of cream silk poplin, trimmed with piping and lace insertion, the former wearing; a smart black hat trimmed with pink silk roses, and the latjer a sunshine hat trimmed with pinkignd. blue. Both carried p^ty"^ouqi^sS~" r-r-—^ The best man was Mr. Stewart Betty of ITokltika, and the groomsman Mr. William R. Honey, eldest brother of the bride. As the happy pair left the church the Wedding March was played b"y Mrs. York; AFter the ceremony the bridal party adjourned to the residence of the bride's parents. A. number of guests assembled and afternoon tea was served and the i usual toasts honured. The bride's gift to the bridegroom was a gold-mounted watch guard and the bridegroom's present to the bride a gold brooch and to the bridesmaids a gold locket and /broach. The happy couple left -by the. evening train for the south. The bride's travelling dress was navy blue serge costume, and silver grey straw hat. The young couple receive a number of useful presents.
