SYDNE V, August 23 . j A Stock Exchange deputation . in- ! tervicwed Mr. Carmichael concerning the Gas Bill. The press ,\vere not admitted. Mr. Carmichael, in a subsequent statement, said that the deputation agreed to the principle of the Bill and to most of its provisions, but con-: sid'ercd that the, interests of investors should be conserved.
