■■ , *»_- MUNICIPAL THEATRE. Mr Breamer again surpassed his past efforts with his programme last evening, the star feature of which was a great moral drama entitled "The Cocaine Fiend." The opening scene depicts the father in " need of money to Help his son in the world. Then follows the following" synopsis: — Tempted; his love for k\s son. He concocts, a drink containing cocaine. This terrible drug is introduced ito the public. It meets with great success. His son .becomes a victim .to the drug. The awful hypodermic syringe at work. His craving for the drug. A hopeless victim. Jilted.- The cocaine fiend. The meeting of another addict ed to the drug. Cocaine's victory at a terrible cost. The father's greed for gold. A visit to ihe factory. His son learns the truth. The drug in innocent hands. The f atfiejf learns of his son's habit' too late. To satisfy •his cravwig. A 'total wreck. When God intercedes. Lost. Victim after victim falls. . The father's remorse. The death of the son. Cocaine triumphant. This picture is a revelation in cinematography. We! strongly advise those who have not seen it to do so to-night, when it shall be screened for ihe last time. Mr Breamer will give a , running commentary as the picture is being screened to-night.
