At the Magistrkre^s^Co'urt yesterday moraing- ihe following cases vvere dealt .witii:— '"'y^ Drunkenness. Edward Connolly was charged with being" found drunk in Boundary street. Fined 5s or 24 'hours imprisonment. George Moger was fined £1 ox four days imprisonment for 'being found on Mawho.a Quay drunk. THEFT, George Cornish was charged that he did on or about ■April / 2<£ steal a watch, chain, and^pendanC 'fltte propeiity of one Thomas Swan .of the value of £7. Detective- Campbel lasked for a lemandaccuseti to appear at Wellington next Thursday. The remand was granted.
