Mr and Mrs E. J. Rundle returned to town from Christchurch on Saturday night. ■ Rev J. Davie, of Hokitika, who has foeen visiting Canterbury recuperating his health, has returned. Rev Dr. Kennedy who has been in South Westland on a holiday trip, returned to Greymouth yesterday. Mr. T. C. Williams, a descendant of. the fwell-kndwn missionary of that name, is reported to be seriously iU at Auckland. Sister Cherrie, of the nursing staff of the Greymouth Hospital, who has been visiting Wellington, arrived home yesterday. Mrs Kihvan and Miss -N. Kirwki, of Reef ton, who have been visiting Queensland, returned to the Coast by the Arahura yesterday. Mr Olouston, of the National Bank, Wellington, who- was temporarily relieving other officers at the Reef ton ibranch,. has left for Wellington. Mr John Cork, of Chiltern, Victoria* who is to advise the management of the Ross Flat claim, in regard to futfure operation, has arrived and gone on to Hokitika. Mr. Robinson Hunter, of Fern Flat, diied on Sunday morning. He leaves a family of'%vo sons and six daughters, one of whom is Mrs A. B. Sptiers of Kumara. It is understood that Mr E. B. Mabini manager of the Bank of New South Wales ati . Hokitika, has been appointed to a similar position in Greymouth and 'that Mr T. A. Hick-, son, who has been relieving here 1 since Mr Stark' s departure, will become manager at Hobi/tika. The following passengers left for Christchurch .yesterday morning: — Misses Gumming, Musson, Edwards, Nancarrow, B. McCormack; Mrs L. Thomas and. child; Messrs J. Burrell, W. F: dbiiston, .F.
