The barometer is still high everywhere. ; Present ; indications are for easterly winds to igale northward of East Cape and Kawhia, soutjheatiterlies elsewhere.. Unsettled and stormy weather is- probable ( in ihe NortH Island shortly, with heavy rain in the northern districts, and rain pro'oably following- over the North; ll 9land.'. Cool and changeable weather is probable in .the South. The barometer has a fallimgi tendency everywhere, especially' in the North.
