Princess Louise still held an advantage tgoing past the stand the second time, but gong down the back stretch Glendallough had drawn level and was 011 terms. As the pair entered the straight in a good finish Princess Louise held her own and won by two lengths from Glendallough, while Red Child, who finished very fast, was fourth, and Little Tib next.
