WEDDING BELLS.

A quiet but extremely- pretty wedding was solemnised in Holy TrinityChurch yesterday afternoon when Mi" William Armstrong, eldest son of Mr and Mrs A. L. S. Armstrong of Cowper Street. Greymouth, was joined in the bonds of holy matrimony to Fannysecond daughter of Mr and Mrs Jesse Steer, of .Lake Villa. Cobden, the' ceremony being performed by Yen. Archdeacon York. ' '

The bride, who looked. charming as she walked to the altar on her father's arm, was attired in- a ver^ x^retty ivory satin gown trimmed with old Lim crick lace of exquisite design and seed pearls. She wore the orthodox veil and orange blossoms. She was attended by Miss Alice Steer as chief bridesmaid, Miss Ivy Boyle, of Dunedin (cousin of. the bride),- and Mass Ida Armstrong- (sister of the bridegroom. All three were attired in apricot crepe de. chine over satin frocks, yoke and cuffs of fine silk net, embroidered with grold thread and wore black tagel hats trimmed with "white lancers. : Two tiny bridesmaids, Misses Mary Steer and Hilma Williams, wore Swiss muslin, frocks daintily trimmed with valenciennes lace and insertion, and hats of accordion pleated lace and net with tinytrails of moss-rose buds.

The bridegroom was attended by Mr Sydney L. Freeman (Westport) as best man and Messrs L. Armstrong and J. E. Steer as groomsmen.

The bride -travelled in a champagne silk ottoman frock 3 large crinoline hat, butterfly . bow of silk net and wreath of tinyi buds. "•-.'- The yomrg" couple, who are deservedly popular, will carry with them the best; wishes of their numerous friends for their future happiness and prosperity.
