TRIPLE MURDER IN VIENNA.
REJECTED SUITOR'S REVENGE,
A terrible drama occurred, recently in the family of one of the most distinguished officials in the Monarchy, Ritter von Ho'lzkneoht, who is a first "Sectionsehef ' (head of a division}, and was leader of the Ministry of Justice until a short time ago. A young man, also of good family, an official named .Dr. Ritfcer von Matkovie. forced an entrance into the house of Ritter von Holzknecht and shot both sons of the Sectionschef, Robert, who is 21 y oars of age; his younger brother George, fc,ged 17 ; and their sister Marie, aged 24. The murderer then shot himself. ..'■-.
The full details of the terrible catastrophe, which became known in the city with lightning-like rapidity, and caused the greatest .excitement, are not yet known. It is stated, however, that Makovic was a suitor for the hand of the daughter, Marie, some time ago, but was refused. He committed the triple murder as an' act of revenge. It may be mentioned that Seutionschef Holzknecht was tutor to the late King of Portegal before entering upon his career as on official in the service of Austrian, justice; •;
