WELLINGTON, July 3,
During the pasx six months, New Zealand exported 220,289 ounces ot gold va'ioied at ,£883,118, being a decrease as 'compared with the return from the correspondiin ©period of last year of £4,289 ounces valued at £G,---563. The quantity of silver son; ay.ay during the first half, of the p-cienP year was 531,353 ounces valued tv being 273,933 ozs of a value' of £27,344 less than in the coi'esponding period of 'last year. Last month's ' return shows a decrease 'n gold of 2,526 ouncesi valued at x. 8,400 and a decrease in silver uf i-6,774 07 s valued at £8,606 compared with June of last year.
