' ■ . ' < HASTINGS, May 13. The Hawke's Bay Jockey Club's 'autumn meeting- was concluded today in fine weather. There was a fair attendance and the going was heavy. £10,711 was put through the . tote, against £7,809 10s for the second day last autumn meeting, making a total for two days £21,428, compared with £14,441 last year, an increase of £(sdbY. The results are: Thiti Hack Handicap Hurdles, 100 soys Golden Water l, Appm # i Tina 'loa 3. All started. Castle-ji& was leti at the post. A splendid race vas won by a head, four lengths between second a third. Time 2.43. Okawa Hack Handicap, 100 soys, seven furlongs— Erin I,' Solon 2, Raupare 3. Scr:Cork. Won by. a nose, a length between second and third, the others being, close up. Time 1.35. Hawke's Bay Stakes, 400 soys, 6£ furlongs-JRoyal Scotch 1, Bandiera 2, Madam Madcap 3. Scr: Vice Ad-miral,-Sunburnt, Odessa, Remissness From a ffood start Royal Scotch went to the front, followed by Formby and Bandiera. After going a furlong * ormby .took up; the running. At the entrance ta the straight Royal Scotch again assumed command and Madam Madcap) moved into second berth.. A great race home resulted in .Watt's col: winning by. three parts o f a length, two lengths separating second, and third. Time 1.23 4-5. Burke Memorial Stakes, 300 soys, li miles— Lady Menschikoff 1, Vice Admiral 2, Woodhey 3. Scr: Fort William. Won by. a neck after a great finish. Woodhey was two lengths away third. Time 2.11 3-5. Scurry Handicap, of 100 soys, five furlongs— Perceler 1, Axis 2, Auroa 3. Scr: Tuatahi, Lady Edna. Won by two lengths. Time 1.4 3-5. Mangatarata Handicap Hurdle Race 120 soys, 1| miles— Reumac 1, Eiya 2. Hbanga also .started 'but fell. Eiya led by half a furlong for a mile and a-half, when Reumac spurted and won by six lengths. Time a. 28. Juvenile Handicap, 120 soys, five ' furlongs— Rangiatua 1, Blue Lake 2, Triemie 3. All started. Won by a length, a neck! dividing second and third.. Time 1.4 3-g.. farewell Handicap, 200 soys, six furlongs— Sunburnt 1, Faunas 2, Effort 3. Scratched": Tort William and Josie. Won by » length. Time 1.17.
