Gorst continued that the remedy is to teach the Egyptians that we don't intend to be hustled into going further, and faster on this path than wo deem well for the people as a whole until this elementary lesson is thoroughly learned. There is. no prospect that the further developing legislative council can be entertained. We must persevere and endeavour to cause the relations of the tjwo races to show a spirit of mutual confidence _and goodwill for the purpose of making phonograph records at the newspaper exhibit. ■
