Wilkinson and William Alexander '* Boyd were charged jointly with having- forged and uttered a cheque for £135 purporting, to 'be signed by T. S. Collins. The police produced a statement by accused admitting the offence. It appears that the two accused agreed to the forgery.. Wilkinson suggested operating on Collins account up to £200. Boyd disagreed, but they finally agreed to make it up to £135. Accused pleaded not guilty, and was committed for trial at the Supreme Court on all the charges. ißoA'd was let out on bail, himself in £50 and another surety for £50 and two of £25 each. Wilkinson himself £100 and two others of £50, and one of £100.
