(By Electric Telegraph — Copyright.) PEKING, Jan. 1. Thousands are dyin,g from plague daily in Manchuria. In. the town of Fichiaiten. there iha/ve been 4000 victims. Entire streets lhaive been burned in the effort to -stop ithe epidemic. The ibodics of i'ihc dead are thrown into the streets to dogs and -birds of prey. . Doctors and otheirs assisting in medical work are protected by gauze masks saturated with iodoforni. An English doctor succumbed with in 36 hours of infection.
