LONDON, Feb 2

- Mt W. C. Robinson, m his presidential address at Leicester, before the Labour Conference, said they could not accept assurance against unemployment, through sickness or | ©ther palliatives, as substitutes for right of work being iguaranteed by the State. The conference necorded its indignation at the recent executions in Ja pain. A proposal to allow party candidates to appear before constituencies as Labor, oar as Socialist, instead of Labor candidates only, was rejected, as was .also a resolution intended to stiffen tbe attitude of Labor members in Parliament against Ministerial pressure.
