• The Sydney Labour Conference are discussing the 'Commonwealth referenda proposals in camera.

The Australian Workers Conference adopted a resolution in favour of the referenda, at the. same time recordingits disapproval of the action of some members of the New South Wales Ministry showing a tendency to fall away from the movement which placed them in power, thereby tending to endager its solidarity.
