At the annual meeting of tho Roefton School Committee, 'the fol'owmg were elected the committeo for the year: — Messrs H. Cooper, D Pankhurst ? J. Banks, H. Castlos, J. Noble, E J. Scantlebury, and G. Buckhaan A.t the statutory meeting Mr H. Cooper was elected chairman of Mr !E J Scantlybivry lion 'secret ry. The Reefton ddafcrict expectn to have four football clubs this year. A new tootball ground has recently been laid off in the oval immediately m front of the grandstand, so that the grandstand can now be availed of by pa trons f who will be able to enjoy and follow the game with belter comfort* than hitherto. The West Coast Com sing Club hold their annual meeting on Friday nevfc^ at the Gladcfcone Hotel. Mr It. Mal- ! loy, ono of Reefton's greatest enthusiasts, captured two fine har©? w.thin a mile l of the LMumpton. " ' ' Tjlxo Nelson Colon <st of tlie 13th msb says. — Mr F. D.
