All this snould have *been done two or three weeks ago so as to have enabled players to get in more accurate practice for the coming season, which ought to end successfulfy iv the Wesb Coast Association sending 'a 1 thorough representative team away to play for the New Zea; land Hockey Shield, which is now held by Wellington, who tlef eated Auckland last year.
