(Reed. 16th, io.io p.m.) , CONSTANTINOPLE, April 16. . ■ Nazim- Pasha has been appointed to command the First Army Corps, and is assistant Minister of War. His first action was to release the officers of the Committee imprisoned on Tuesday"; and issued an order that they must jot be molested. The Government announces tncy will follow the foreign domestic programme of their predecessors. NOT ACKNOWLEDGED. The Young Turk Committee at Salonika refuses to acknowledge the new Government and are preparing to offer a desperate resistance. 1 PUBLIC MEETING. A great public meeting at Salonika approved of the Committee's decision.
