|t!HE TAILORS' DISPUTE-
: v, WELLINGTON, Sep. 1. Il was reported to the Arbitration Court to-day that as the result °f conferences concerning the lailors dispute, an agreement liad been •reached in regard to the log. The uoirits now unsettled were m reference to the number of apprentices to be employed and prohibition of apprentices. In regard to pressing payment for holiday^, and the fixing of a minimum, weekly wage, the union asked for £3 per week in place -of £2 ?5s now iiaid. The employers' representative :remarked on the scarcity oi apprentices. Evidence will be taken by the Court regarding the points in dispute. ' i.
