ENCINE AND FOUR TRUCKS DERAILED.

Yesterday afternoon there was a mishap on the wharf. ' When a timber special from Hokitika was proceeding down the wharf, opposite the Clothing Factory, .some Mucks were standing on the branch line and one overlapped the points. The engine of the timber train came in contact with die truck, and was thrown off 'the rail;;,, pulling four trucks with it. In a very short space of time a crane was broughit up and with jacks and levers the derailed engine and trucks were lifted, on .to the rails. The line was a good deal twisted, but last night the line was ready for the usual traffic.
