The Wellington Rowing Association Regatta was (held at Petone on Saturday in fine weather. The water was "a trifle lumpy at first, but calmed down after three of four rttccs. Crews firom Wa-ngahui, JPieton.", iJienheim, Canterbury, and Chiistchurch •union clubs competed, -in addition to local crews. Following are the resulis :— Maiden fours, one mile, first prize 68, second £2.— Star 1, Petone 2, antcrbury 3 Won by three lengths, one foot ibetween -second and third. Senior fours, two miles, .first prize £15, second ,£5. -^Blenheim 1 Canterbury 2, Pieton 3. Star also started. Won by three length, the same distance between second and third. Time 14 mins 4sec. Junior clinker fours, one milp 'and a half, first prize £&, second — Union 1, Pieton 2, Star 3. Won by ,a quarter of a length after an exciting fin,i*h. Four lengths between second iand third Time q mins 52SCC. Senior double sculls, one mile ancl a half, first ,£B, second £2.— Wanganui 1, Wellington 2, iSiUr 3. The Union also st-arted. -Won by a length and a half. Time 10 mins 2 sees. Maiden double sculls, one mile, first prize £s, second £I.— Jilenhe-im i, Pieton 2 o»li" starters others being too late in coming* to post. Won by 2J length. < Time 7 mins 37secs, Youth* s -fours, one mile, first prize £S, second £2.— Canterbury 1, Star 2, Wellington 3, only starters. Won by a length and n half. Time 0 mins 37a sees. Junior pairs, one mile, .first prize £5, second £I.— Blenheim 1, Pieton 2, Petone 3. -Stan also started. Won by three lengths. Time 7 mins 2*; sees.
