The Wellington Rowing Association Regatta was (held at Petone on Saturday in fine weather. The water was "a trifle lumpy at first, but calmed down after three of four rttccs. Crews firom Wa-ngahui, JPieton.", iJienheim, Canterbury, and Chiistchurch •union clubs competed, -in addition to local crews. Senior fours, two miles, .first prize £15, second ,£5. -^Blenheim 1 Canterbury 2, Pieton 3. Star also started. Won by three length, the same distance between second and third. Time 14 mins 4sec. Junior clinker fours, one milp 'and a half, first prize £&, second — Union 1, Pieton 2, Star 3. Won by ,a quarter of a length after an exciting fin,i*h. Four lengths between second iand third Time q mins 52SCC. Senior double sculls, one mile ancl a half, first ,£B, second £2.— Wanganui 1, Wellington 2, iSiUr 3. The Union also st-arted. -Won by a length and a half. Time 10 mins 2 sees.
