At the Arahura. saleyards yesterday the entry consisted of 80 fat cattle and 40 fat Nelson wethers. The entry of fat cattle was short of the advertised entry by 20 head. There was a full attendance of local buyers, Iftit only very few from the Grey district were present. The yarding was cleared under competition prices, a shade easier than last sale. Prime heavy weight bullocks fetched 4s to .£l4 55.. medium weight £12 to .610, light £8 to £g 10s. Heifersheavy weight ;£>io 12s 6d, medium ;£io Ss to £10 12s 6d, light '^6 to .£B, equal to 36s for prime quality and 32s 6d for medium. F^t sheep — weth? ers 27s 6d.
