STOCK DEPARTMENT CHANGES

WELLINGTON, Nov. 29. The following changes in the staff of the Stock Department have been dc cided upon. Mr J. Duncan, Inspector of Stoclat Palmerston North, will succeed Mr Clifton ,as. Inspector in Auckland. Mr Duncan will be- succeeded at Palmerston North' by Mr D. J. Fleming, of Gisborne. Mr G, H. Jenkinson, "of Masterton, will act as inspector at Nelson and will be succeeded . by Mr —Wayne, of Hastings. • Mr Hubbard, of Nelsoii3 will be'lcca ted at Carterton, vice Mr Hucldlestone, transferred to the Thames to succeed Mr Graham, who is to take over the Hasting-s District vice Mr Wayne. The Hawke's Bay district .will be divided into two parts. Mr W. Miller, the .present Inspector* in charge at Napier, taking over the northern part above the Wairo.a district, with "headquarters at Gisborne, and Mr Ross, of Hamilton, the southern part : with headquarters at Napier. Mr Kerr, of Kiaikihi will succeed Mr Ross at Flam ilton while Mr R. Alexander (Cam bridge) has been raised .to- the rank of stock inspector to fill the vasancy caused by the resignation of. "Mr' Fraser. -Mr Alexander will' '• be : located at Te Kuiti aqd have 'charge-; of the district formerly under- Mr Kerr.
