: \ ; PERTH, Nov. 29 The fire insurance combine which has existed for a number of years, has been broken up. At a meeting of 32 companies out of 35 belonging to 'he Underwriters' Association a motion was carried that owing- Lo breaches of the agreement of the association by • the Royal, Company, and all efforts to bring that company into line hav.'ng failed, the agreement of the Ass.cia--tibn be suspended. 'The manager of the Royal accuses the remianing-. members of. the Association of having bi?eh guilty of the very practices they condemn in the Royal. He says h : s com pany always observed- the tariff right up to the time of the rupture. Tt -\\as the other companies that were going behind the tariff. The result is that there will be a fierce war of rates.
