RAILWAY SIGNALS.
LONDON, July 7. The Great Western Railway Company successfully tested audible instead of visible signals on the Fairfold branch line. The apparatus ' is fixed. on the track, and is communicated to the engine by ringing a bell if " the line is clear,, and b living- a whistle if the line is blocked.
